MindCrime Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 What happened to the link for the I used to keep track with the Songfacts Top 25 posters this way & now it's gone
Carl Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 We took down the user list - Moose out front should have told you. We noticed that the user list was taking a while to generate, which makes sense considering we have about 35,000 users. Since we've been trying to speed up the boards and cut back on bandwidth, we decided to take it down.
MindCrime Posted January 26, 2005 Author Report Posted January 26, 2005 Who's Moose?, I haven't met him Any way of telling the Top 25 list now? Thanks for the answer, I appreciate it
Carl Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 Sorry, I guess I assume everyone's seen Vacation- John Candy as a security guard at Wallyworld: "Sorry folks, park's closed. Moose out front should have told you." We might be able to do a local search and post the results from time to time. That wouldn't be a crunch on the server.
MindCrime Posted January 26, 2005 Author Report Posted January 26, 2005 Thanks for your consideration, I really enjoy the hard-work you do here, this is a great site & one of the best I've visited on the web.
