METRO 1
Not sure if was ariel by dean friedman, but it was sung to the TUNE of the US NATIONAL ANTHEM. This has been driving me insane as well, i remember it from when i was a kid. If you find it let me know. Might evene find it as mp3 somewhere. alfabloke
Definately was NOT Dean Friedman! I have been thru' his entire catalogue as I thought it was him originally. No luck. It was very similar to Aerial but definately ended with the lines, "my name's Karen", reply, "That was my mother's name". Definately American, probably prior to Dean Friedman. Must just keep searching. Damn, Damn, Damn, Damn!
chrisp236
I've been searching for this song for ages. I think the title is something like 'the oldest game'. The first line is 'won't you come home with me, I've a place you should see'. There is also a line something like 'stay with me for a lifetime, or at least wait until the late show'. In another line the girl asks 'what kind of wine is this? and the guy replies 'thats er red wine'. I hope this helps someone to find what song this is and who the artist is.
