RonJonSurfer 15
I heard Styx is putting out an album of favorite cover songs next year. The New York radio stations have been playing the cover of "I Am The Walrus". I gotta tell you, it's pretty good. You wouldn't know it was Styx until maybe the last chorus of the song. Otherwise it's a true to the original cover. BTW, my favorite album of cover songs is "Pin-Ups" by David Bowie. He covers the Yardbirds, Kinks, Pink Floyd, Pretty Things....I love it. The CD version had extras that the LP didn't including some Springsteen. :guitar:
edna 6
Pin-ups is fantastic... Just like "These Foolish Things", by Bryan Ferry. A great covers album is "I´m your fan", only it´s Leonard Cohen´s songs played by others...
