"The Lusty Month of May"?

Until I heard this song from "Camelot," I didn't think that hot, sticky May was particularly noteworthy. After all, the big push for "Summer!" doesn't come along until June. (Yes as in "June Is Busting Out All Over" when "Yellow Polka Dot Bikinis" come out of hiding.;) A YouTube search yielded this modern take on Julie Andrews' counting the many ways of casual courtship.

So, can you remember if/when May triggered interest in the opposite sex? ('Scuze me while I kiss the sky";)
