enzo
I would like to find a song which I liked so much when I herd it (about in the 80s).... she was a lady (the singer) wearing very gipsy... and even without shoes at all... really nice.. and the song (chorus) says something like: Baby, do me right!. cause .... alogn tonight... Do me right! cause ... baby Dooo me right...... very powerfull and slow song... she made a version in spanish that said something like: Se que tu vendras, ....Se que, tu vendras.... I don't know if she was canadian (I think she just got that song at the billboards... It was about the 80s... I CAN'T FIND ANY CLUE THROUGH THE NET.. I AM NOT SURE IF I AM USING THE RIGHT WORDS.. probably she said: Baby, you'll be mine (instead of Do me right) I am not sure... I was living in south america at that time... I would apreciate a lot any help.. (her voice was able to rise very acute at the chorus...) I don't even know the name of the singer.. please some help... ::
Jenny
Hello Enzo: Where did you live in South America? Anyway, here's a song I found that may be what you're looking for: Do You Want It Right Now by Taylor Dayne Do you know how lucky I feel I am To find a man who loves me, as I am You never try to change a single part of me You're easy to love, with those qualities An everyday you teach me more and more Inside me I wanta glow And every night you think of only me The way you keep me satisfied You do all the things I like I want ya, Oh I want ya so Do you want it right now Oh, I cant let go I want ya so bad, give me all you have I can show you now, do you want it right now You have a rare sensitivity I really believe you know how to feel I trust you with all my heart and soul You care to much too let me take control And every day you teach me more and more Inside me, I want to glow and every night you think of only me oh you keep me satisified, you do all the things I like I want ya, Oh I want ya so Do you want it right now, Oh I can't let go I want you so bad, give me all you have I Can show you how, do you want it right now I want ya, I want ya so Do you want it right now, Oh I can't let go want ya so bad, give me all you have I can show you how, do you want it right now Do you want it, want it right now baby right now do you want it, want it right now I can hear it from ya right now Do ya want it want it right now right here, right now, right now, right now I want you screaming, screaming Everyday you teach me more and more inside me I want to glow And every night you think of only me The way you keep me satisfied, you do all the things I like I want ya, oh I want ya so, I want it right now Oh can't let go, I want ya so bad give me all you have I can show you how, do you want it right now I want ya, I want ya so Do you want it right now, oh I can't let go I want ya so bad, give me all you have I can show you how... fade
MindCrime
That's the first I've heard of Taylor Dayne, since the late 80's. I had completely forgotten all about her. I guess she didn't have much staying influence like Tiffany, Jodi Whatley, Pebbles, Samantha Fox, Lisa Lisa & the Cult Jam or Debbie Gibson. Kylie Minogue somehow managed to make a comeback though. Uncle Joe
I believe Taylor had one thing that those other gals you mentioned did not...and it seems to have held her back. Talent.
MindCrime
That's true though, Jodi Whatley was a talented singer during her time, it's just a lot of those female pop singers from the 80's didn't have a whole lot of staying power or remembrance. Marie27751
It soulds like you and I may be searching for the same tune. I remember a video of a woman, possibly shoulder-length dark hair, singing against a brick or stone wall. The words I can remember are "Baby, do me right, you've got a lot to learn about love tonight, can you feel the heat in me baby" I have been doing lyric searches for the past four years and asking every 80's buff I encounter if they have a clue what song I am refering to. Sometimes I think I made this up!
