Ian gave Dan a nice, aggressive interview. The high-adrenaline guys can be tough, because they don't always stay on track, but Ian has a very cerebral side that measures his passion.

Ian wrote the lyrics to those classic Cult songs, and was great about explaining some of them - "Fire Woman," for example. He also talked about his time with the new version of The Doors, which he fronted for a while. This got really sticky when John Densmore sued him, along with Manzarek and Krieger, for performing under the Doors name.

In the end, it's a story about a talented guy who considers himself more complex than the constraints of the "Rock Star" label, and has found a way to elegantly continue doing what he loves, and what makes people happy.
