Noticed Johnny Townsend added more facts to the song "Smoke From A Distant Fire"....love that song by the way...and I was so happy he took the time to give me info on the song when I wrote to him awhile back...Great song and a great story to go along with it...check it out if you haven't seen it yet.

Good catch Laurie. Johnny also gave us some info on the song "Let Love Come Between Us," which he originally sang.

This was falloff from our piece on the The Muscle Shoals Sound, which we just published. Johnny, who oozes Alabama, had some wonderful memories of recording there.
