  1. The last name should tip you off. It's Sylvester Stallone's son.
  2. I got rid of Facebook over a year ago.
  3. Goodbye Girl - David Gates (1977) Shake, Rattle and Roll - Bill Haley and the Comets (1954) The Candy Man - Sammy Davis, Jr. (1972)
  4. Me. I can't eat a ton of food like that, it screws with my stomach. I can have BBQ (I prefer Carolina BBQ with the mustard-based sauce), but certainly no more than a small portion. For dinner tonight, I had a couple of thick slices of tomato on some homemade potato bread.....I went to the Farmer's Market earlier today. I also bought some eggplant, zucchini, squash, fresh sweet corn, cucumbers, peppers, onions, and a couple pints of blackberries. There are some great local farms here in NC I like to patronize when I can.
  5. It happened again earlier today. I had to tell Firefox this wasn't an attack site so it would let me go through.
  6. There have been a ton of great movies released in the last 10 years that were not remakes, reboots, or prequels/sequels to/of previously-released films, and some of the best sequels or story continuations have been the Batman movies directed by Christoper Nolan. Much like music, in order to find the stuff of quality, you have to do a little work. I agree, there's been more than a few crap films, but that's not the entirety of what's been released, just like the sh!t on the radio isn't the entirety of the music that's been released.

  8. Right now, my lunch, which consists of a couple chicken tenders and some thick-cut slices slices of tomato with a little salt.
  9. Not quite. People with Celiac disease can't process gluten, which is a protein found in wheat, rye, barley, and other grains. It makes them ill, much the same way someone who is lactose-intolerant would get sick if they ate ice cream or consumed some other dairy product. As such, they need to eat foods that are gluten-free.
  10. You can post vids manually, by inserting the URL of the video between the URL tags. For example, [ url=webaddressgoeshere]Name of song - Artist (Year)[/ url] Just eliminate the spaces.

  12. True Spandau Ballet Found on the album of the same name, it peaked at #4 on the Hot 100 and #1 on the UK Singles chart in 1983. Written by Gary Kemp, it pays tribute to Marvin Gaye and the sound he helped to create at Motown Records. The band was previously known for dance music, but this ballad is their biggest hit. It was featured in the 1984 film, Sixteen Candles. Info taken from Wikipedia and AllMusic
  13. Lady Blue Leon Russell Featured on the album "Will o' The Wisp", it went to #14 on the US Hot 100 chart in 1975. It's considered a "musical cousin" of his prior hit "This Masquerade". The song's themes of love and commitment have made it a popular choice to be sung at weddings. Info taken from Wikipedia and AllMusic
  14. It's nothing. Like I said, I only realized it when I was looking at past noms for inspiration this week. I thought in the interest of fairness I should say something, but it's not a big deal.
  15. My apologies to whoever nominated Barbara Lynn, but I nominated that song back in Songfactor's Choice Top Ten #235, and it made the TT that week. I hadn't realized it when it was nominated this past week, but when I was looking at some past nominations of mine to use for next week, I saw that I'd had it written down and highlighted. I sent a PT to Lucky so she can make any changes to the list.

  22. It looks god awful, if you want my honest opinion. Then again, I don't give people like Tom Cruise my money to begin with, since I don't want to support the celebrity cult that is the CoS. If I want to hear actors singing or imitating a rock band, I'll watch Almost Famous. Jason Lee did a fantastic freakin' job in that film, as did Billy Crudup.
