I'll take it, Mike. We're at -24C, with windchill, it feels more like -35C. It was even colder earlier in the day. It's hard to believe we'll see 2C later on in the week.

Shawna, We can't get those Oscar Mayer weiners here...but I can sing the song! My favorite ones are Harvest all-beef, although we don't eat them a lot. My husband jokingly refers to weiners as "lips and arseholes".

I don't suppose much has changed about university since I went so many years ago. I DO know that it is much more expensive. Would this be an incentive to take it seriously, and not spend TOO much time partying (or is that something you think about in hindsight)?

It's currently -28C here with windchill factored in, it feels like -36C. Earlier today the windchill made it feel like -44C. Among forum members, I think I have the dubious distinction of living in the coldest location. I wonder how many people don't even know about car block heaters, and having to plug them in if you want your car to start in the morning?

I'm sure someone's made this comment before: Rockband has really opened up "older/classic" music to youngsters. My daughter would have never considered listening to Nirvana and Pearl Jam (just to name a couple) if it weren't for the likes of Rockband and Guitar Hero. Today she convinced her 10 year old brother to play RB and I overheard him saying..."Okay, but I DON'T want to play Aqualung..." I didn't know who Jethro Tull was when I was his age!
