    Arcade Fire

Did you guys know, there are no artist facts for Arcade Fire? I like them but I'm not real familiar with the group so I thought I'd check em out a bit. Guess I'll have to google
  2. Take The Long Way Home - Supertramp Before that it was: The Logical Song - Supertramp
  3. NIRVANA - PLATEAU Nothing on the top but a bucket and a mop and an illustrated book about birds...
  4. The Songfactors' Choice Top Ten #260 This week there are two songs needing facts. Letter, The – Joe Cocker (1970) Wooden Ships - Jefferson Airplane (1968) (As you can see both our songs this week are covers and already in the data base. If you want to put facts for these it's fine but not an absolute must ) If you have any info on any of the songs mentioned anywhere in this thread, please feel free to post your knowledge here. Submissions on songs will be collated and sent to the main site and you will receive credit for your contribution. As always the Songfish thanks you :guitar:
  5. Thanks Farin I like the Eels song. I think this is a very difficult subject and trying to think up songs for comforting the people suffering through the aftermath is near impossible.
  6. Someone very, very close to me lost someone very close to her through suicide last night. I need a song to help her feel better and to help her understand that some people just feel hopeless and nothing you can do will make them better. She relates through music and loves just about anything. She is 25 and carrying a heavy load right now. Any suggestions?

  9. I just heard we have mile long lines of National Guard trucks headed for our coast. It's not really alarming because that happens now and then around here. Maneuvers I think, it just doesn't happen at this time of year. They usually do that stuff in the summer months. Practice makes perfect right?
  10. "Burn In Hell" - Twisted Sister (1984) "Bye Bye B*tch Bye Bye" - Motorhead (2010)
  11. Best thing that's happened all year
  12. Carl is really great with the upkeep of the site so please don't give up. Sometimes there's a bug that has to be worked out or some other kind of issue. And, welcome to the site Jim hope your enjoying it. I'm sure Carl will have the add option fixed soon

  15. Personally Shawna I think it's the "my right" attitude at work there. When DH and I had to fly from Denver to OR the people sitting in front of us were like that. We were horrified and disgusted by the behavior. To make matters worse, it was a mother and son. She was raising the kid right for sure with a complete lack of anything that even resembled manners It was just one more thing in what we call, THE TRIP FROM HELL. We laugh about it all now but at the time, none of the crazy stuff that went on during that whole trip fiasco was very amusing
