  1. It's really really good Fitter - the song of course, but I love the video, and your stoic demeanor - fits the song, (fits a fitter?) .... it's very good.
  2. Excellent writing (although really frightening )!
  3. I've messaged her, thanks Kenne, for noticing.
  4. 1. Living Loving Maid (She's Just a Woman) - Led Zeppelin (1969) 2. You Got The Silver - The Stones (1973) 3. Deep Down Inside - Cheryl Dilcher (1973) 4. Loco-Motion, The - Grand Funk Railroad (1974) 5. Simon Says - 1910 Fruitgum Company (1967) 6. Everybody - Tommy Roe (1963) 7. But It's Alright - J.J. Jackson (1966) 8. I Remember You - Skid Row (1989) 9. Animal - Neon Trees (2010) 10. We Belong - Pat Benatar (1986) great week.
  5. I don't find this to be that much of a cheap rip off actually. At least not if it's done well. Frank L Baum wrote 14 Oz books, with "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" being the first. There have also been almost 75+ subsequent books written by other authors using Oz as the setting/premise, so this is not that outlandish an idea. I wouldn't mind seeing the film if it's done well, and can add to the story of the Wizard. I mean, really it's already been done sort of, with "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West" written by Gregory Maguire, which was the inspiration for the hit musical Wicked! Not actually a prequel, it's more of a parallel.
  6. No BD - back in the day not so long ago, when you clicked on "Online" you could see exactly where each person was posting/viewing etc..... after a fairly recent update (within the past year anyway), that changed, and now your business is your business. You are visible as being online, but no one can see exactly what you're viewing anymore. It's a privacy thing, I assume.
  7. Seen 'em 3 times - Steel Wheels - 1989 at Busch Stadium, St Louis (best concert EVER, nothing more to say) Bridges to Babylon - 1997 Trans World Dome, St Louis. I believe this was the first World Wide Web interactive concert for the Stones, and was also broadcast via pay per view (so I also have it recorded) - the online listeners were given the opportunity to determine 1 song played by vote. I think the choices were Miss You, Waiting on a Friend, and something else. Waiting on a Friend won. A Bigger Bang Tour - 2005 Chicago's Soldier Field. Old? You sure couldn't tell it by the performance. Members of the audience were chosen to sit in those tiers on stage - If I remember right, I think this Stone's tour was the first time this was done, though it's common now. These 3 concerts were the best of my life, and I've been to a lot .... thanks boys!

  16. Ray, SD county is really weird, with current temps ranging from 112-115 in the desert, to maybe 85-95 in the mountain/inland areas, to the coast where we have yet to hit 80 (we are literally less than 5 miles inland). It is however still considered a "heat wave". I feel silly even saying that. Mid August, we might hit 85-90 for about a month and that's pushing it. Most homes on the coast don't have air conditioning (obviously we don't really need it), but for that 1 month we sweat like pigs.
  17. Shawna, we also use firefox. After clicking "trust this site" once, we've never gotten the warning again.
  18. Awww poor baby (him, not you). I heard that there is an outbreak across the country of hand, foot & mouth disease. Not serious, but you're right, not fun, one of my kids had it 20+ years ago. Hang in there, you'll get to experience much worse in the years to come. Think of it as a learning opportunity.

  23. Ok, this isn't a wonky thing with SF (I don't think), but John & I, and Kenne (I learned from FB) just got a huge "WARNING! DANGEROUS SITE! Do not proceed (or some such) message a little earlier tonight. It was a huge font message and not anything I've ever seen before. We actually just clicked through it, as we've always trusted SF obviously, but others may not. Don't know whether it had anything to do with it, but today we did that thing everyone is supposed to do to make sure our computer isn't infected with that worldwide malware thingamabob that is supposed to attack on Monday. We aren't infected, but could SF be in some way? Via some of this spam we get? Just wondering.
