Carls Fishsitter
Just read on msnbc.com that the Police are reuniting to open up the Grammys this year. Still no word on whether they will reunite for a tour.
Sweet Jane 61
Latest on The Police... After weeks of speculation, a press conference and "special announcement" featuring rehearsals by the Police is set for Monday (Feb. 12) at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, Calif., the day after the band will reunite for a show-opening performance at the Grammys. The 11 a.m. PT press conference and special announcement via live satellite broadcast is widely expected to be regarding a 30th anniversary world tour by the seminal rock trio. The press conference announcement was made by promoter Live Nation. Given that, it is a likely assumption that Arthur Fogel, chairman of global touring for the company, will oversee the tour under LN's TNA International banner. Fogel and TNA have a past history producing Sting's world tours, and last year presented international runs by U2 and Madonna.
MindCrime
I'm thinking about watching this on the Grammy's ; I still wonder what song they are planning on playing.

TheLizard
Nope, that's all they did. Talk about anti-climactic.
CRAW
Nope, that's all they did. Talk about anti-climactic. Yeah, I didn't even want a cigarette afterwards. What gives?!
Eggplant
I assume the purpose of the performance was to build up the hype for their upcoming tour. I have to admit it left me feeling a little flat.
MindCrime
Andy and Stew seemed less than enthusiastic to play alongside Sting again. I have a feeling this tour will not make it through the schedule.
