Tidal Wave of Beer

I saw this little known fact on a program last night about the history of the brewing industry.

In 1814 a large vat of beer broke apart in a brewry in London. A 25 foot tidal wave of beer cascaded into a London street killing 8 and injuring numerous pedestrians. Those that survived the onslaught were seen trying to scrape the beer up out of the street.

Man I bet OLD 55 would have liked to been around at that time.
