Batman
[ I need some help. First of all, I know that Jimi Hendrix had more than one bassist in his career as a musician, The first was Noel Redding, the second Billy Cox. When and why was the switch made? Also, does anybody have a complete list of every instrument Jimi played on an album?
beatleant
For your first question - everything you need to know just on this one page ---> Jimi Hendrix As for what other instuments he's played, I know he did some bass work. It was actually Jimi that did the bass on "All Along the Watchtower," from the album "Electric Ladyland" and I wouldn't be surprised if Jimi did most of the bass work for the rest (of album). _Jayson_
As for instruments, On "If 6 was 9" he played a flute. On "Crosstown Traffic" he played a kazoo. On "Little Wing" he played a glockenspiel. On "Bold As Love" he played a Harpsichord. And he played bass and piano on many of his songs. :guitar:
