RonJonSurfer Posted April 8, 2005 Report Share Posted April 8, 2005 Pearl Jam Star to Headline Crohn's Disease Benefit Pearl Jam star Mike McCready is paying back an organization which has helped him come to terms with his Crohn's disease by headlining an awareness concert for them. Advisers at the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation encouraged McCready to go public about his ongoing battle with the debilitating stomach disorder in 2003, and now he's saying thank you. The guitarist will perform at a benefit concert for the charity Friday in Seattle, Washington. McCready will also speak about his illness at a CCFA luncheon.
