Here's a dream-like movie set in late Victorian times that's become the first of the "Australian Film" wave that continues to this day. David Hamilton's "Dreams of a Young Girl"-soft-and-gauzy look influenced the film maker into a movie that blurred the boundaries between history and fantasy.
