Random Song Facts

After some issues trying to register here, I am getting used to the new layout on the main site. The only thing I am missing is the "Random Song Fact" link. I used to come in and hit that a few times a day. Am I missing it somewhere, or has it been retired?

Hi BrendaLou!!

Not sure about the random fact being "retired". There are a few random picture pop-ups in the banner above the "spotlight" thing that changes every few seconds. Click on one that seems interesting. Normally full interviews, but almost as good as random fact (which I was a fan of). I found out many years ago that this discussion forum is a good place to find out about facts of everything music. I joined (accidentally!) because I was trying to submit a fact for a song on the main page. I've never regretted it. Found out so much!

The "random songfact" didn't make the final cut on the new layout, partly because we didn't know where to put it. There's a good chance it will return - we have heard from a few folks who miss it.

Glad I am not the only one who used and enjoyed that feature. Hope to see it again in the future.
