Liberal Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 I think you guys will find this interesting. It's about the music charts. On The Media Transcript of "Charting the Charts" (March 12, 2010)
MuzikTyme Posted January 14, 2011 Report Posted January 14, 2011 I like the way Casey Kasem says; "Three Dog Night is hot on the charts, for now." This will give an idea of how hot the 70s were. Every minute, a new original hit would surface and people like me couldn't wait for the LP to be released. No other decade had so many number one singles by so many different bands. In the entire history of rock-n-roll, no decade meant as much to so many. Maybe I'm a tad biased about the 70s. Nah, it's the best decade for music...EVER! For every number one hit in 2011, I will give ten 70s hits! Terrible thing, there really hasn't been a "HIT" since the seventies!
Carl Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 Thanks for this link. Music charts have always been very mysterious, and this clears things up a lot.
