Lucky
Hey indie, welcome to SF. Indie is not really my thing, but there are plenty of members around here that probably can help you out ... just hang on until they show up.
Ombre Vivante
Isn't that what virtually every Wuss Rock song is about? Your idea of indie and my idea of indie are two pretty different things, mate. All the same, I insist that any such compilation as you describe must include some stuff by The Smiths. The Smiths are one of the key defining bands of the indie genre, and Morrissey the poet laureate of unrequited lovers. How about any of the following: "How Soon Is Now?" "Reel Around The Fountain" "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me"

The Smiths are one of the key defining bands of the indie genre, and Morrissey the poet laureate of unrequited lovers. How about any of the following: "How Soon Is Now?" "Reel Around The Fountain" "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me" Every one of his albums is rife with songs about that. Here are some more: "Unlovable" "I Know It's Over" "Never Had Noone Ever" "I'd Love To" "The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get" "Tomorrow"
