Colorado Rockies' president found dead in hotel

Recommended Posts

Keli McGregor, 48, was found dead Tuesday morning in a Salt Lake City hotel room. McGregor, was on a business trip with team chairman and CEO Charlie Monfort and executive vice president Greg Feasel when he failed to show up for a morning meeting. The two associates had trouble reaching McGregor and called EMT's to the hotel after someone entered the room and found McGregor unconscious.

The initial report shows no signs of foul play and nothing suspicious. McGregor is survived by his wife, three daughters and one son. As someone who remembers vividly the day the late Daryl Kile died, this story has an eerie feeling to it. A husband, father, son, leader and friend to many, gone way before there time.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the McGregor family and the Colorado Rockies organization ~ S.Schmidt
