Carl Posted January 7, 2009 Report Share Posted January 7, 2009 Get a hold of this guy's cell phone and you can ring up Bono, Gwen Stefani, Lou Reed, Mick Jagger, Tom Petty, Jon Bon Jovi and the new judge on American Idol. He's written with all of them, plus he's half of Eurythmics. This is one of the hardest interviews I've had to prepare for, because he's just published The Dave Stewart Songbook, where he tells lots of good stories. Not wanting to rehash old tales, I tried to find out what makes the guy tick, what some of these funky people he's worked with are like, and how Kara will do on American Idol.
