  1. Even though Peaches already knows how much I love her, after reading your thread and tearing up (yes, you touched upon a few old wounds & experiences that I too recognize from my childhood) all I can say is "". You are truly the greatest Madam Peaches!

I totally agree with both of you guys, a Masterpice it was Kenne! I think I recall saying "WTF" quite a few times during the film because I was SO blown away. Good times...
  3. No offense taken, I didn't make the movies. I failed to mention earlier that I have to be in the mood to watch these movies or they have no effect on me. But just for fun....
  4. For me it would have to be: Fried Green Tomatoes & Steel Magnolias (especially when Sally Field breaks down at Shelby's funeral) There are many more but I refuse to come off as a SAP!

Roger, as the media said, 'It's the "Seven" of 2004'. If you liked that movie, then you will like this one!

So, I know that this movie has been out for a while already, but my younger brother and I went to see it last night. All I can say is, "WOW!" what a mind (insert f-word here). Has anyone else seen it?? Thoughts, opinions?
  7. So, anyone else run into the problem of this movie being COMPLETELY out of stock everywhere??? I cannot believe it! Nobody had a copy...nobody! All gone...
  8. No fair!!! I have to work today so i won't get it until after 4:30. :beady:
  9. Yea it is...I'm feeling kind of dizzy now....
  10. Oh my little Peachy!!! You are so sweet to me!! And "" to you too!!! ::
  11. Good thread! I guess I will start by saying that Pagans celebrate this time of year for the Winter Solstice. Same goes for the beginning of Spring as opposed to Easter. I have to agree with...well I forgot who said it but...the person who said that it is more of a time for coming together with family and friends to spend time they may not usually get to spend throughout the year. Commercialization I think has gotten WAY out of control. To give gifts around this time (no matter what you are celebrating) is fine, but everyone maxing out their credit cards and/or going broke just to keep up because everyone expects that is beyond me. In fact, even though I earn a good living, I decided this year to use my time, love, effort and energy to make beautiful gifts for the people who are important to me. Gifts that are personalized no matter how big or small tend to mean a lot to people. They will receive purchased gifts that accentuate the made ones, but I have seen throughout the years how ugly people get when shopping and stressed they get about buying something for every person. What I am saying is, this should not be a time for dissonance, quaralling over parking spaces or the last Tickle Me Elmo. It should be a time to embrace the gift of life that we have all been given and offer our gratitude and love to the people that have walked with us on our journey.
  12. Sounds good! Look at this stuff...isn't it neat? Wouldn't you think my collection's complete? Wouldn't you think I'm the girl...the girl who has, everything... Now I have the song in my head!!
  13. As far as my favorite old Disney movies: Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Robin Hood, Snow White, Peter Pan. Newer movies: The Lion King & Mulan
  14. LOL!!! My younger sister and I used to do the same thing!!! I don't feel SO much like a dork now!! ::
