  1. If you enjoy Mozart you will surely enjoy a little known composer named Schroter. He was one of Mozart's favorites. I highly recommend his Concerto for Piano/Klavier & Orchestra. Op.3. No. 3. recorded by brilliant pianist Murray Perahia. The CD also contains 3 Mozart piano concertos. The album is titled: "Mozart/Schroter Piano Concertos"-Perahia. The disc is manufactured by CBS Masterworks. Read the wonderful liner notes explaining the Mozart/Schorter connection.
  2. Tapestry was acrtually released twiceby Carole King. There may also be some confusion because Don McLean also released an album titled Tapestry in the same year. I believe it was 1971.
  3. How about "Ribbon In The Sky" by Stevie Wonder. Give it a listen.
  4. Oh yeah...and "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" by Simon and Garfunkel.
  5. Imagine by John Lennon....after all, it's a prayer. Maybe too obvious. If ya wanna get the little buggers swayin with a little dip in the hip and some glide in the stride try Are You Ready by Pacific Gas and Electric. How 'bout Joan Siberry and kd lang's "Calling All Angels"?
  6. I'm sticking to rock drummers here with apologies to Buddy Rich, Sandy Nelson,Harvey Mason, et al. 1. Ginger Baker of Cream. (inspiration for the Muppets "Animal") 2. Dino Danelli of the Rascals.
  7. Ty....love your starter set. May I add The Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, the 60's Moody Blues and The Rolling Stones?
  8. You go Sara! Just a note here to credit the artist who originated the song....the late, great Jackie Wilson.
  9. Funny...I always thought the lyric was "pumped a lot of pane"....as in propane. And, unless I'm mistaken, Creedence's version was the original. Live and learn, huh?
