  1. Tapestry was acrtually released twiceby Carole King. There may also be some confusion because Don McLean also released an album titled Tapestry in the same year. I believe it was 1971.
  2. How about "Ribbon In The Sky" by Stevie Wonder. Give it a listen.
  3. Oh yeah...and "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" by Simon and Garfunkel.
  4. Imagine by John Lennon....after all, it's a prayer. Maybe too obvious. If ya wanna get the little buggers swayin with a little dip in the hip and some glide in the stride try Are You Ready by Pacific Gas and Electric. How 'bout Joan Siberry and kd lang's "Calling All Angels"?
  5. I'm sticking to rock drummers here with apologies to Buddy Rich, Sandy Nelson,Harvey Mason, et al. 1. Ginger Baker of Cream. (inspiration for the Muppets "Animal") 2. Dino Danelli of the Rascals.
  6. Ty....love your starter set. May I add The Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, the 60's Moody Blues and The Rolling Stones?
  7. You go Sara! Just a note here to credit the artist who originated the song....the late, great Jackie Wilson.
  8. Funny...I always thought the lyric was "pumped a lot of pane"....as in propane. And, unless I'm mistaken, Creedence's version was the original. Live and learn, huh?
  9. Try here....Pop, Rock, Jazz And Country Music For Flute www.fluteharbor.com/cat14.html or here.....flutepuppy.com/cat14.html maybe even here...www.flutespot.com/cat14.htm there's always here...www.encoremusic.com/flute/cat14.htm All of these were found in a Google search. Good luck! There are lots more sites. Go to Google search and type in "rock music with flute solos".
