  4. Awesome! The Avett Brothers are one of my absolute favorite bands right now. I've seen them live three times already, they're amazing.

  7. Another album that took me too long to get to, The Ocean's "Pelagial" is one of, if not the, best metal album of the year. This is some Between The Buried And Me level stuff.

  9. Woo! That's awesome. Honestly, I like "Sloom" better than most of the songs on their album, though I absolutely love them. And big for Belle & Sebastian Nice! I'm glad you like them. I hope a bunch of people discover bands through this. That'd be awesome.

  13. An amazing band you've never heard of. Only way I heard of them was them asking me to review their album on my blog. In Place They only have three singles right now, but those three singles are really really good. And they're free.

  15. I don't know what took me so long to listen to Mikal Cronin's album "MCII", but it is fantastic. Not a bad track on the album.

  19. Finally got around to listening to Sigur Ros's new album and it's fantastic, duh. Different direction than their past few albums, I like it.
