Puppet, If that dont work, try this: Right clk on the "IE" icon, then clk "PROPERTIES", then clk "ADVANCED", then clk "RESTORE DEFAULTS".
I'm not to familiar with XP, but a friend told me about that fix... He said it worked for him on other problems he had..
Jim
This in ref to your Y-tube problem

If ya all go back and check into the albums and singles released in 1975. You'll find that besides Led Zep, there were quite a few others that made the charts, along w/ the the ones still there from previous times. Check the main boards under realese year (1975) and there are more not included there.. Was a very good year for music. I didnt care much for what songs were about back then. I had something else in mind. (back seat in the car activities)
Ah, the old days...........lol

I dont know if this is backward compatable w/ win XP.. But I use win 2k pro sp4, with Explorer / 6.0.28.11.. I have never had a problem. I dont try to make Y-tube default to a different media playing app such as "win media player" or "quicktime" or "realplayer" etc.... if this version of explorer will work with XP you shouldnt have any problems....
I run the same progs on both machines... the one at home being a home built w/1.8 g pros, 2g of ram, and 500g of storage spanned over 4 hard drives, This lap top (I'm on now) is an old HP omni 6000 w/ win w2k pro sp4, 80 g drive, and 128 mg ram. with all the same software.. I have never had any probs with either one.
I hate win XP.........and Vista is even worse

Do have any auto updates enabled for your security progs?. If so something may have came in and decided Y-tube is an enemy, (never happened to me) I've heard this has happened with some security progs.. Maybe just go back into your security settings and see whats going on..

I dont remember the 1970 Shea Stadium concert.. I must have still been recovering from beating I got when i got home from Woodstock (I was only 12). Great stories everyone!

This is a tuff subject. If ya took allmost every act that performed at Woodstock, that had released an album. You could probably classify them as 'trippy acid rock' ( with a few obvious exceptions)..

Of the many GFRR concerts I've been too, I never had a bad time. No hassles, not fights, no injuries to write home about. Always a good time.
Not like today when ya get 1/2 wasted on the way to a show. And if ya do make it home, ya wake up trying to remember what ya did the night before.. "Concert,? what concert?"... Damn, i'm startin to sound an old fart now.........
-
39 for me (ouch) the 70's are a more of a blur than I thought... I probably remember more about the sixties..(I doubt it)...Anyway, I got a headache now after that....LOL

Anyone remember the concert tour they did in conjunction to the release of "Shinin On", with the large projection sheet hung behind the stage promoting "Locomotion". It was as close as they ever got to doing an all-out music video....

Not vote-worthy... Both were very inovative... Emerson was one of the first to utilize occilators, Wakeman took off with that technology and ran with the advent of the "mini moog"....

Oh and Pink, Fool on the Hill comes to mind as a possable counter to George's song..

I to have read many books and saw many documentries on the Beatles. I have no recolection of any bet excisting between the two.
And Pink, If I remember right (and that was many brain cells ago) the song Norwegian Wood, was one of George's contributions...(but I aint sure)

Congrats on that B&W....
This subject really is "mission impossible".
If I had to pick one, it would probably be "If I Fell". Simply beause, way back when I used to sing in one of the bands i was in that did this song, I had to learn Johns part (the sub harmony), That proved to be a-bit of challenge for me. I sang the low parts on "From me to You" also. So both songs seem to come mind first just for that reason....

Couldnt agree more...
While laying in bed tryin get to sleep last night. I somehow managed to dig up a few old brain cells from back then. I recalled a Philly concert, ( maybe back in 73 ) when they had what they called "dance concerts" (In this case it was the old Phila Spectrum). I got myself front and center somehow. About 12 ft away from the stage. And completly smashed against the retaining wall, unable to move. A girl about my age (there with her brother) was right behind me. She couldnt see, so I put her my shoulders.. When Mark had finished the harmonica parts of "Inside Looking Out" Mark threw his harmonica into the crowd. She had a hand on it, but couldnt hang on to it... Needless to say, someone else got it. But to this day I have no idea who this person was. I do remember her saying she was from the same town as I, but didnt get into details..
If there is a female on here that recalls such an event happining in Philly bout 1973... Speak up, the person I speak of might be you...
Its scary when those brain cells ya thought ya killed come back to haunt ya.... lol
