Thank you Earth Angel. As it is I happen to have the CD which this song is from "Reality". I really didn't care for it so I played it maybe once or twice and it's been untouched ever since. Funny me for not realizing I had this song already. I've heard it on piped in music in various retail stores. And as much as I love Bowie's music I just did not recognize this as him.

Does anybody know who sings the song with the lyrics; "All the days of my life. All the days I owe you"? It's a male singer and sounds fairly new.

I like everything David Bowie has done but my favorite Bowie album is his 1980 (maybe 1979) release "Scary Monsters". With this album Bowie experiments with New Wave sounds such as the classic "Fashion" and "Ashes To Ashes". Other great songs are "Up The Hill Backwards" and "Scary Monsters". Excellent album. "(There's No Place Like) Home For The Holidays" by The Carpenters. This is a most beautiful song yet it's upbeat with a homespun easy going upbeat rhythm. Nobody sings a Christmas song as well as Karen Carpenter.
