  1. A place to talk about your favorite album art. What you like about it, what you don't like. Also, any questions you may have about it, this would be the place to ask them.

Album art that always threw me for a loop was Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. The burning guy shaking hands with some other guy in an industrial park. Also, for the song have a cigar, there is a picture of a guy swimming in sand. Who is this guy, and what is the significance of swimming in sand?

    Anyway, post away!

  2. I used to have a few of these stored away, but they have all slipped my mind. I did hear a Stones song on the radio the other day, I forget the name, It was Goodbye something... But it sounded at times a lot like Goodbye Blue Sky, they even said Goodbye at the right time. Goodbye Ruby Tuesday!! That was it. But yeah, I forget all the other songs that sounded alike. There is one by The Edgar Winter Group, on They Only Come Out At Night that sounds like another song by some other band. The titles of both songs escape me. The only other songs that sound the same that I can think of is rap. All rap.

  3. Roundabout by Yes has a kickin' bassline (In the beggining). So does Money by Pink Floyd. A lot of the earlier Floyd stuff had really cool basslines, like Lucifer Sam, and Interstellar Overdrive. The bassline to Echano by Chuck Mangione is also great. The bass riff (also played on sax) in Domino by Van Morrison is cool. Those are a few of my favorites. I'm sure I will think of more as time goes on.

  4. I do understand where MuzikTyme is coming from, and I do agree that it is important to spell things correctly. But I don't think it matters that much in this particular place. As long as someone who spells incorrectly here takes time to proofread the things that matter.

For instance, if my friend says aint instead of isn't or aren't, it won't bother me as much as if I see someone on television make the same mistake. I however, by nature, have less than desirable grammar, so I make it a point to think about what I am saying before it comes out. But if I do make a mistake in an unimportant place, I let it go, because it isn't a big deal. But I would be mortified if I was writing a letter to the president or a CEO or someone formal, and confused you're with your.

So, MuzikTyme, I don't think CyberDemon is in need of a grammar lesson. Because, when it boils down to it, spelling/ grammar is not that important here, as long as you can understand what the person is saying.

  5. As of now I play piano, guitar, sax, and drums. I haven't played the drums in a while though. Piano is probably my main instrument, I've been playing since I was 3. I pretty much suck at guitar, though I'm trying to learn gradually. I play sax in marching band. That's about it for me though.

  6. I can only think of two albums off the top of my head that were released in '75, WWYWH-Pink Floyd, A New World Record-ELO. But if you only want some of the good stuff from the albums, here it is:

Shine On You Crazy Diamond- Pink Floyd

    Have A Cigar- Pink Floyd

    Livin Thing- ELO

    Do Ya-ELO

    Rockaria-ELO

That's about it. Wasn't there a Zeppelin album released in '75?

  7. Good Lord - Knock it off. Sarcasm can be funny or it can be unkind. Funny it's fine but there is no reason to hurt someone, and certainly no reason for an entire thread!
I agree with windy. This is a very insulting thread. Especially since we are all forced to read it.
  8. In ELO's Fire On High, if you listen to it backward, a voice says "The music is reversible, but time is not, turn back, turn back, turn back, turn back!" And then if you were listening to the song forward, almost everything up until that point was played backward. At that point everything goes forward and there is some sword fight. It's a weird intro to a song, but that voice is creepy.

  9. Throw Momma From The Train is a gerat movie. I want to see some more Hitchcock movies though. I have only seen Birds, Psycho, and The Man Who Knew Too Much. Psycho scared the crap out of me. Bill Murray starred in a comedy called the man who knew too little, it was pretty funny.

  10. I will always miss Napster. Kazaa was the only thing that came close to its greatness, but it sort of sucks now. The one I use (or used until my dad disallowed it because he was claiming it installed spyware on our computer that was already there) is Ares. It is pretty nice. They have a lot of songs on there, and it is well organized. I would reccomend to anyone looking for a new shareware program.

  11. In Rockaria! by ELO, the female operatic voice annoys me. I know it is necessary to the song, but it is just annoying. In the beggining, I don't know if it's supposed to happen, but she starts too soon, and goes oops, and then proceeds to start singing at the right place. At least that's what it sounds like to me.

  12. In my opinion, the earlier Yes, with Rick Wakeman, was better than the later Yes, when they sort of reformed and some guy for keyboards who I don't even know his name. They got rid of the singer too I believe. Don't get me wrong, the later Yes was still awesome, but the first Yes was better.

  13. 1. What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? Butter Pecan, as of right now

    2. What is the last movie you saw in a theater? Anchorman

    3. Your PBnJ: Crusts on or cut off? On. I enjoy the crusts when it is good bread. But when it is crap like wonderbread it's not so great. Either way, I don't want to waste food.

    4. Who was your first celebrity crush and how old were you? David Bowie.....just kidding.

    5. Ink pens: blue or black ink? Whatever color ink is in the pen closest to me.

    6. What is your favorite color? Red

    7. If you had $100 to spend in 5 minutes, what would you buy? A clock that stopped time so I would have more time to buy stuff. But then I wouldn't have any money left. So I guess I would just buy some chicken in a biscuit or something

    8. What is your favorite cereal? That Post stuff with dried fruit.

    9. Choose one: A B C and tell why you picked it. A- because I didn't feel like reading the rest of the choices.

    10. Name a quote that says a lot about you. The quote is "a lot about you," and I name him Frederick.

  14. I never understood what the round one in the middle of the rabbit ears did (you may recall you moved the dial an it would go around, I think it was for UHF).

So that's what that dial is for! My antennae must be broken, because whenever I turn it, the middle one just stays put. I never knew that. I have been spoiled by modern electronics.

  15. I searched for a thread like this and didn't see one, so I apologize if there already is one. I figured there should be a thread for people to talk about the dreams they had last night so if they were weird or cool or something you wouldn't forget them.

Last night I had this dream that there was some weird electric charge inside of me, and I couldn't get close to lightbulbs or electronic stuff, because it would stop working. It could've been cool, but it ended up being pretty annoying, because it was dark everywhere I went.

Ok, enough of my dreams. Feel free to post whenever.

    Dream on!
