  1. Can their ever be an arguement as to the owner of the best voice in Rock? All the girls wanted him, all the boys wanted to be him...
  2. I remember that sketch back in the '70's. What I remember vividly was my Dad, laughing so hard tears were streaming from his eyes. Harvey Korman was a genius....
  3. Wow. Your memory is incredible. Outstanding...... This guy weirds me out bad too...
  4. Wouldn't you just..... freak? Like, say, you happen to wake, open your eyes, see the digital clock, 3:37 AM, move your eyes, and he's next to the bed? Hehheee... Get a good night sleep Kar. The boogeyman is real. Evn if you don't believe in him, he believes in you...
  5. Or this one.... I remember being a terrified 15 year old at the Odeon Theatre when I heard those chilling words... "Jill, we traced the call. It's coming from inside the house. Get out of that house!" Inner body temperature to zero in a heartbeat...

  7. No, that wasn't creepy. This Is...... Ken.
  8. I was overjoyed to find this available on DVD. I *totally forgot about the 1977 scary movie flick, The Car . 10/10
  9. Flander's Field is a spot in all Canadian's hearts.. In Flanders Fields By: Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, MD (1872-1918) Canadian Army IN FLANDERS FIELDS the poppies blow Between the crosses row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields
  10. Yeah, me too.... Beats the hell out of my career....
  11. My son did work experience this week with the Canadian Coast Guard. They want him back this summer! Looks like he'll be spending the duration of his summer tending buoys, and assisting in Search and Rescue. Ken.
  12. Prince Waleed of Saudi Arabia got himself a diamond encrusted Mercedes SL600. Remember that when gas hits five bucks a gallon.
  13. Those AMC folks who gave birth to the Pacer in 1975 (designer Dick Teague is next to driver door)
  14. Hey..... wait a minute.... No... The Pacer was kinda.... cool. In an Edsel-like spirit.
  15. A friend of mine has a '57 Chev Bel Aire. I was floored when he told me it cost him well over 8 grand just for having it rechromed. Each part has to be stripped, treated, dried, dipped in a number of chemicals prior to the rechroming. Teal blue over white leather interior. Something tells me they won't be drooling over an '85 Omni or Pontiac Sunfire years from now....
  16. Christine, in all her 4-barrelled, whitewalled, hi-octane evilness....
  17. Chrysler/Dodge also lists "Burnt Umber" as a reddish color. Google Image search provides this poppy as a representation of that color. It would look cool with metallic flake..
  18. It'll look beautiful. I'm looking at a 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger. Slant 6 225ci. I'm trying to see if I can come up with the original Dodge Deep Chrome Green paint scheme.
  19. The color you have in mind is Autumn Red.
  20. Christine red. Although Christine was a '58 Plymouth Fury (So the book says, I think they actually used a '58 Belvedere in the movie) they had her done up in Chevy's Spectra Red with a couple of layers of clear coat. Beautiful.....
  21. The unholy triumvirate of Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez and Celine Dion. Reading about or listening to any one of these self-professed 'divas' is like chewing tinfoil, only somehow worse.
  22. Girl On The Billboard Del Reeves Who is the girl wearin' nothin' but a smile and a towel In the picture on the billboard in a field near the big old highway Rollin' down the highway in my Jimmy, haulin' freight From Chicago to St Louis, Lord, I see her every day Oh, a double clutchin' weasel like me can hardly ever get A girl to look at him that way Smilin' like the girl wearin' nothin' but a smile and a towel In the picture on the billboard in the field near the big old highway Wow, what a girl wearin' nothin' but a smile and a towel In the picture on the billboard in the field near the big old highway I bet it wouldn't take her very long to be gone If someone would pull a dirty trick, take her towel away I'd slow my Jimmy to 20 That's how many wrecks I see there every day Caused by the girl wearin' nothin' but a smile and a towel In the picture on the billboard in the field near the big old highway Oh, I love the girl wearin' nothin' but a smile and a towel In the picture on the billboard in the field near the big old highway And I guess I'm gettin' bolder 'cause I'd rather kiss and hold her Than just keep lookin' at her every day At 4:45, coffee-drinkin', eatin' time Jimmy shimmied, while I woke up the artist that painted the display Of the girl wearin' nothin' but a smile and a towel In the picture on the billboard in the field near the big old highway Doggone, that girl wearin' nothin' but a smile and a towel In the picture on the billboard in the field near the big old highway Sleepy headed, painter said the girl wasn't real and I better get on my way On Route 66 from the billboard to Chicago You'll find tiny pieces of my heart scattered every which a-way Shattered by the girl wearin' nothin' but a smile and a towel In the picture on the billboard in the field near the big old highway Who was the girl wearin' nothin' but a smile and a towel In the picture on the billboard in the field near the big old highway Who is the girl wearin' nothin' but a smile and a towel In the picture on the billboard in the field near the big old highway Who is the girl wearin' nothin' but a smile and a towel In the picture on the billboard in the field near the big old highway Well, who is the girl wearin' nothin' but a smile and a towel In the picture on the billboard in the field near the big old highway Yeah, who is the girl wearin' nothin' but a smile and a towel In the picture on the billboard in the field near the big old highway
