Sweet Jane 61 Posted October 6, 2006 Report Share Posted October 6, 2006 A new Rock and Roll Hall of Fame exhibition on The Clash is set to open on Friday, October 20. "Revolution Rock: The Story of the Clash" will include instruments, rare memorabilia and other items from "the only band that matters" and will remain open until mid-April of next year. Former Clash members Mick Jones and Terry Chimes, as well as Joe Strummer's widow Lucinda Mellor, will all attend the opening of the exhibit. A new Clash box set, simply titled The Singles, will be released on October 31 and include every one of the band's singles, along with a 44-page booklet of new essays from Pete Townshend, The Edge, Mike D., Damon Albarn, Chris Shiflett of the Foo Fighters and others.
