Sweet Jane 61 Posted August 14, 2006 Report Share Posted August 14, 2006 A benefit CD of cover songs, dubbed Between The Covers, will feature tracks by Eric Clapton, Madonna, Alicia Keys, Sheryl Crow, Lenny Kravitz, Mick Jagger, David Bowie and more. The album will hit stores on September 12 and will benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation, which supports cancer, leukemia, and AIDS research. VH1, VH1 Classic and the Logo television network are also set to air a 30-minute special in conjunction with the album on the same day as its release, according to Access Hollywood. The special will be hosted by Kevin Bacon and his brother Michael, who also recorded their rendition of The Beatles' "If I Needed Someone" for the project.
