Nearly a year ago, artists like Elvis Costello, Dave Matthews and Simon & Garfunkel convened at New York's Madison Square Garden for a Hurricane Katrina benefit concert. A double-disc DVD chronicling the evening, dubbed "From the Big Apple to the Big Easy," will arrive Aug. 22 via Rhino.

Produced by Ken Ehrlich and Quint Davis, the DVD will also raise money for the cause, with 100% of the profits to be donated to relief efforts. Performances like Elton John's "Levon," a duet by Dave Matthews and Jimmy Buffett on Neil Young's "Heart of Gold," Lenny Kravitz' "Hercules" and three songs from Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel are among the show highlights.

A number of intriguing collaborations are featured, including Cyndi Lauper with Allen Toussaint, Jimmy Buffett with Dave Matthews and Paul Simon and the Neville Brothers with the Meters.

From the Big Apple to the Big Easy raised nearly $9 million for the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund, Habitat for Humanity and MusiCares.
