SNEWTON
MY BROTHER IS ILL & DYING. WE WERE "HIPPIES" OF THE 70'S AND THERE WAS A SONG WE LIKED ALOT & HE WANTS IT PLAYED AT HIS FUNERAL... WE ONLY KNOW THE FOLLOWING WORDS TO IT: IF I DIE AT 23, WOULD YOU BURY ME IN THE SUNSHINE. LORD DON'T U KNOW I STILL LOVE YOU. & WHEN I'M GONE, MY LOVE FOR YOU WILL STILL BE STRONG... SOME WORDS COULD BE WRONG... URGENT ANYONE HELP PLEASE??? THANKS!
MuzikTyme
I can't say how sorry I am to hear your story. The only words I can offer at this uncomfortable time is that the song is by Marshall Tucker's late Toy Caldwell. -Ab's Song- If I die at 23 Won't you bury me in the sunshine Please let me know that you're still mine Though I'm gone, My love for you is oh so strong And when the grass grows over me Let me know you still love me Never put nobody else above me Then I'll know My love for you will always grow
windy1
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your brother. I have been in a similar situation. It may not seem so, but it's wonderful and important that your brother can participate in these desicions. It's a comfort to him, and will be to you in the future. Hang in there-- you'll be together again someday and you'll hear "happy hippie music" again!
