This was the first song George wrote about his soon to be wife Patti.

George also wrote Something (Abbey Road) and I'd have you anytime (All things must pass) about Patti.

Patti Boyd was born in 1945, in England. In 1962 she and her sister started working as models. They got jobs in London, Paris and New York.

George first met Patti in 1964, when the Beatles were filming the movie "A Hard Day's Night." Patti had a small part in the movie.

This song was featured in their second movie Help!

Patti divorced George in 1977 and married George's good friend Eric Clapton who wrote an entire album of songs about her (most famously Layla) and included a likeness of her on the album cover.
