JustAnotherGirl Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 She plays her guitar waiting in the rain. She's lost herself for someone else's gain. Now her eyes are glazed from another night just wasting away. She makes a living, just enough to get by. The only thing you see in her eyes are the tears that she cries. Her home is in her heart where she beats at the walls. She follows her story, her savior calls. She's another missing link, another story untold. Another sacrifice to the greater good, another problem to behold. Where she'll end up, nobody knows. They just watch her as they pass her wandering in the store until it's time to close.
Steel2Velvet Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 ".. they pass her wandering in the store until it's time to close." Really like that line.
Shawna Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 Powerful stuff. This brings back to me memories of my teenage years. Well done.
