Tony Baloni Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 I have to say, I have a newfound respect for David Lynch now. I just saw this movie last night, and I really liked it. All the subtle clues and symbolism and boobies; this movie really had a lot of effort put into it. And aside from having a really great story, all the acting was great, and just the overall look and mood of the movie and how it changed from scene to scene. Anybody else think this movie was a masterpiece?
Kevin Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 My wife . Usually I fall asleep half way through . I perk up in the lesbian scenes but after that ... gone .
Tybalt Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 Film critics loved Mullholland Dr. and it received a number of awards, but I think Lost Highway (1997) is David Lynch's real masterpiece. Have you seen that one?
Ombre Vivante Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Nothing beats Blue Velvet. Think of an Edward Hopper painting come to life
Kevin Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 My wife worships nearly everything 'Lynch ' : I think I'm gonna try to get her to sign over all her transplantable organs - just in case .

Ombre Vivante Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 My wife worships nearly everything 'Lynch ' : I think I'm gonna try to get her to sign over all her transplantable organs - just in case . Reminds me of the ear that's found in Blue Velvet. Stay alive, baby. Do it for van Gogh
