What do you get when you mix Country and Rap? CRAP!

Willie Nelson, the hardest working man in country music, and Snoop Dogg, the hardest man period, have been working hard for several days now, writing, harmonizing, filming a video, recording and collaborating creatively in just about every which way.

As with the start of every new tour, tonight’s atmosphere resembled “Back to School†day. After a month off the road, everyone was excited and ready to go on this four-week European tour, which will take them to eight countries. Tonight’s show in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, was packed. Willie Nelson & Family were in fine form. The crowd was enthusiastic and demanded several encores. And Willie’s two walk-ons also got roaring applause: Snoop Dogg did “Superman†with Willie, and Eva Hassmann, a popular German actress who has written, directed and starred in a film with and about Willie (“Willie & Me, due out in a couple of years), sang a duet with him on a new song, “It is what it is, says love.†Willie and Eva wrote the lyrics together, borrowing freely from the famous German poet Erich Fried.

The action BEHIND the stage was not bad either. Midway through the show, Snoop Dogg arrived with his entourage, wearing a brown fringed suede jacket and a red bandana around his neck. He looked totally cool, and even as he waited to go on, he sang along with Willie backstage. He completely knew the lyrics to “You are always on my mind†and “Mama’s don’t let your babies grow up to be cowboys.†Respect!

And it's already on YouTube:

They also played dominoes back at the hotel and recorded a video in their spare time :)
