*Floyd Council. Interesting, the theory I heard was that Syd's cats were named after Council and Anderson, and the band was named after the cats. Imaging if they had been called Floyd Pink. How weird would that be?

Vynyls are cheaper to buy. I have a ton from my dad, but I have Roxy Music on vynil, because I wouldnt spend 15-20 bucks on a cd that i dont know if i will like.

What originally made me go out and buy Echoes last year (Pink Floyds Greatest Hits) was hearing Comfortably Numb covered by some local band. I had heard an awful version of Another Brick In the Wall part II before that but it was a very horrible version.
The first Pink Floyd with Syd I heard was Arnold Layne and remains my favorite Syd.
