Breeze Of Her Life
I feel a breeze,
Coming through the air,
I feel a breeze,
Of anguish and despair
This breeze is unnerving,
Peerlessly burning,
In the mind of an unknown friend,
Don't make this the end...
Once In a while,
This breeze transforms
Into a blustery smile,
Worth the weight of the world
More often than not,
These smiles decay,
Into a hurricane of uncertainties
That never go away
The breeze follows me with secrets,
Haunts me with problems,
I wish I could see her,
To make things better....
But after all,
You can only feel the wind.........

I want to seeeeeee him!!!!!!

I would PAY Pink Floyd to have me sing with them. And by pay i mean A LOT.
-
Cream is Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker.
All in my top 10 of their instruments.
No need for a coffee joke scott
-
Roger Waters of Pink Floyd is one of them
Time
Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today
And then the one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking
And racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in the relative way, but you're older
And shorter of breath and one day closer to death
Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desparation in the English way
The time is gone the song is over, thought I'd something more to say
Jimi Hendrix
The Wind Cried Mary
After all the jacks are in their boxes
And the clowns have all gone to bed
You can hear happiness staggering on down the street
Footprints dressed in red
And the wind whispers "Mary"
A broom is drearily sweeping
Up the broken peices of yesterdays life
Somewhere a queen is weeping
And somewhere a king has no wife
And the wind cries "Mary"
The traffic light said turn on blue tommorow
And shine the emptiness down on my head
The tiny island sags downstream
Cause the life that lived is dead
And the wind screams "Mary"
Will the wind ever remember
The names it has blown in the past
With his crutch, his old age, and his wisdom
He whispers known this will be the last
And the wind cries "Mary"
Bob Dylan of course
once upon a time you dressed so fine/you threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn't you?/ People'd call, say, "beware doll, you're bound to fall"/ you thought they were all kiddin' you/ You used to laugh about/ Everybody that was hangin' out/ now you don't talk so loud/ Now you don't seem so proud/ About having to be scrounging for your next meal.//How does it feel/ How does it feel/ to be without a home/ like a complete unknown/ like a rolling stone?// You've gone to the finest school alright, miss lonely/But you know you only used to get juiced in it/ And nobody has ever taught you how to live on the street/And now you find out you're gonna have to get used to it/ you said you'd never compromise/ With the mystery tramp but now you realise/ He's not selling any alibis/ As you stare into the vacuum of his eyes/ And say do you want to make a deal?// How does it feel/ How does it feel/ to be on your own/ with no direction home/ like a complete unknown/ like a rolling stone?//You never turned around to see the frowns on the jugglers and the clowns/ when they all did tricks for you/you never understood that it ain't no good/you shouldn't let other people get your kicks for you/ you used to ride on a chrome horse with your diplomat/ who carried on his shoulder a siamese cat/Ain't it hard when you discover that/ He really wasn't where it's at/ after he took from you everything he could steal.// How does it feel/How does it feel/ to be on your own/ with no direction home/ like a complete unknown/ like a rolling stone?//Princess on the steeple and all the pretty people/ they're drinkin', thinkin' that they got it made/ Exchanging all kinds of precious gifts and things/But you'd better take your diamond ring, you'd better pawn it babe/ You used to be so amused/ at Napoleon in rags and the language that he used/ Go to him now, he calls you, you can't refuse/When you aint got nothing, you got nothing to lose/ you're invisible now, you got no secrets to conceal// How does it feel/ how does it feel/ to be on your own/ with no direction home/ like a complete unknown/ like a rolling stone///. (PLEASE NOTE THAT DYLAN HAS A HABIT OF ALTERING LYRICS AS AND WHEN IT PLEASES HIM! ! ! )

See, my view on it is that there is a standard for good music.
There is great music out that is new, you just have to find it. Incubus (like you mentioned), Manic Street Preachers, Feeder, The Killers, The White Stripes are just some of the great bands from nowadays.
Great music is out there, you just have to care and look for it.

Anybody here like Sublime or hear anything by them?
They actually arent too bad, I got an album of theirs for X-Mas from my aunt.
They have kind of a bit of a reggae feel to them I find, and they are definetly big druggies, some songs are called:
40 oz. to freedom
Smoke Two Joints
Lets Go Get Stoned
I like some of their beats though. Does anyone like them?
-
Yeah, I never thought about that one Jayson.
Life begins slowly getting stronger.
Life ends, slowly getting weaker.
-
Is that the one where he yells shut up? Because thats the best Linkin Park Song. I used to have Meteora but Hated it. Hybrid Theory is pretty good though, some of the songs.
-
It is about everything you meet in life.
Breathing (Breathe)
Money (Money)
Time (Time)
Colours (Any Colour You Like)
Craziness (Brain Damage)
Speaking (Speak To Me)
Beautiful voices (The Great Gig In The Sky)
Hurriedness or forgetfulness (On The Run)
And then at the end Eclipse just sums up everything the album is about. Life and everything in it.
All that you touch
All that you see
All that you taste
All you feel.
All that you love
All that you hate
All you distrust
All you save.
All that you give
All that you deal
All that you buy,
Beg, borrow or steal.
All you create
All you destroy
All that you do
All that you say.
All that you eat
And everyone you meet
All that you slight
And everyone you fight.
All that is now
All that is gone
All that?s to come
There is no doubt in my mind that it is the greatest albumever released. The lyrics, cover music, every single note and noise on the album comes together to make it a masterpiece. It could not be improved. It is the epitome of Music.
This is of course as always, my opinion.
