SoulGirl, modesty is my main one.

Most of my conquests were pickled so music didn't matter. If I ever had to woo a lady again though, I would probably use 'The Soul Sessions' or something by CUD, as both have sufficient sex to make up for my deficiencies.

God I wish I was!
I am 5th behind my baby girl, two sons and my wife.

If its not 'Special Brew' by Bad Manners, it is worth a listen anyhow. The singer dances like Marc's old avatar as an extra bonus.

An 'up' from the Orient to Mr Thomas. I agree.

Anybody else think it was a bloke singing, when they first heard it?

'Rat Trap' by The Boomtown Rats is IMO one of the greatest songs with a story ever. It is part of my teenage years, and one of the few songs I will sing out loud in the car with passengers.

Its the same for me Edna. Perhaps the gods are trying to tell us something?

Transvision Vamp - 'I don't care' would be an interesting one to watch.

Yep, I agree The Divinyls with 'I touch myself' or whatever it is called must be best. The lady onanist's theme tune.

Surely all friends start out 'with benefits' of some kind, otherwise you wouldn't have made friends in the first place. Those that remain true friends are those that are worth retaining during the times they are of no benefit at all.

How could he state a figure as accurate as 4,600? He must have some memory, either that or a very weak bedpost.

She'd probably enjoy the splash of publicity!

Are you on AOL Elvish? If so, it gets overloaded easily and every user gets slowed down. My 'computer geek' recommends a change of provider in these circumstances.

I wouldn't climb over her to get to you!

My boys like drum and bass in the car. Whenever any comes on the radio they shout in unison 'crank up the bass Dad'. I must admit I like a bit of Goldie myself, and often hide somebody in the boot to bang the panels.

Sorry to lower the tone and all, but am I the only one who read that as 'boned'?

My folks dragged me kicking and screaming to a couple of open air do's as a spotty youth. The Stones headlined one (during Mick's shoulder pads and headband period if I recall), and Jethro Tull the other.

Swapped for fishing tackle if I recall. Silly really as the biggest fish I used to catch were on my homemade bamboo pole, 'fly'-style line and size 18 hook. The fancy-Dan gear was no substitute for stealth and animal cunning.

Whilst I like the original and the Jeff Buckley versions, my fav. is K D Lang's.

Bugger, I meant the Kursal Fliers vs Wilson Phillips.

I started reading this, and stopped in confusion. GJ you are indeed a man of words and icons, but I don't know where you were going with them all!
With any group of people there is a tendancy to 'mess' with newcomers. A bit like being the new man at the works and being sent to stores for a 'long weight' I suppose. Don't take offence over that as none is intended I'm sure. Stick around and get to know the good people here, then you can really take offence at what they say (just kidding).

Top band with a southern 'hairy' thing going on. A friend went to see them a few days ago, and said he was the only one there without a beard. Cool 'National Health' Jack Duckworth style glasses too.
