Yesterday's Wine ~ Willie Nelson
Miracles appear in the strangest of places
Fancy meeting you here
The last time I saw you was just out of Houston
Sit down, let me buy you a beer
Your presence is welcome with me and my friend here
This is a hangout of mine
We come here quite often and listen to music
Partaking of yesterday’s wine
Yesterday’s Wine, I’m yesterday’s wine
Agin’ with time, like yesterday’s wine
Yesterday’s Wine, well yesterday’s wine
Aging with time, like yesterday’s wine
You give the appearance of one widely traveled
I’ll bet you’ve seen things in your time
So sit down beside me and tell me your story
If you think you’ll like yesterday’s wine
Yesterday’s Wine, well yesterday’s wine
Aging with time, like yesterday’s wine
Yesterday’s Wine, well yesterday’s wine
Aging with time, like yesterday’s wine
Yesterday’s Wine, well yesterday’s wine
Aging with time, like yesterday’s wine

Great suggestions, y'all. Remember, they don't all even have to be albums. We can also have a list of songs, movies, books, whatever
I'm thinking:
Best (or maybe worst?) Covers
British Invasion (which could be best groups, songs, and/or maybe albums- hmmm..should we include or exclude Beatles and Stones? Could even specify decade if we want...)
So, have fun with this - let your imagination run wild.

I thought about N&P and the diamonds when realizing the greedy dude had a gift of communicating w/the dead.
Good theory, Das

What do y'all think about revisiting a topic that was particularly popular at some point in the future? Women Gone Wild II?
We could allow renominations from the original list (not including the winners, of course) as well as new nominations that weren't in the first round. Would make things consistent, as far as the lists go.

Not a lot of interest in LOST anymore, huh?
What do we think: will a certain someone REALLY die or is he just left behind on the island?
Last night's show was sooooooo goooooood. I can't believe we have to wait a month for a new episode, though

They did The Beatles again?!? AND they voted off the rocker chick? I'm glad I'm not keeping up with it this year. If they vote off the pretty boy with dreads, it'll be a worthless season.
How'd he do by the way?

how bout maybe "The Rose" (written by Willie Nelson). Bette Midler performed this best (imo)..
Willie didn't write The Rose, Amanda McBroom did

For my last nomination:
From wikipedia...
Catch a Fire is the major-label-debut album for Jamaican reggae band The Wailers, released on Island Records in 1973. The album established the band as international superstars. Leader Bob Marley in particular became world-famous, especially in the Caribbean and Africa, and among immigrants in Europe and African-Americans in the United States. The socially aware lyrics and militant tone surprised many listeners, but others were attracted to songwriters Marley and Peter Tosh's confrontational subjects and optimistic view of a future free from oppression.Catch a Fire ~ Bob Marley and the Wailers

Shake Your Money Maker ~ The Black Crowes
From Amazon:
Few young bands have embraced classic rock as fully as the Black Crowes. Their debut album features a bar-band stomp rooted in the back catalogs of the Rolling Stones, Free, the Faces, any number of early-'70s hard rockers. The secret of their success has been singer Chris Robinson's lanky rock-star poses matched with a voice as raw as whisky and as inviting as velvet. Add a healthy rhythm section accentuated by producer (and Rick Rubin protégé) George Drakoulias and you've got the dynamic shuffle of their hits ("Jealous Again" and the title track). While the band clearly likes to party, they're even more convincing as the Sunday-morning comedown of "She Talks to Angels." --Rob O'Connor1. "Twice as Hard"
2. "Jealous Again" (network TV debut on Letterman"
3. "Sister Luck"
4. "Could I've Been So Blind"
7. "Thick N' Thin"
9. "Struttin' Blues"
10. "Stare It Cold"
11. "Live Too Fast Blues/Mercy, Sweet Moan"

I guess we should count ourselves lucky here in the Midwest - it has yet to hit three bucks, but is awfully close. Last I paid was $2.97.

Used to Love Her ~ GnR
I remember the misogyny controversy back in the day; thought it was silly and loved (love) the song. It's obviously tongue in cheek
