  1. Believe it or not, I came to this thread this time solely for the purpose of adding one very underrated singer, songwriter and guitarist -- the great Paul Rodgers. He has been successful with no less than three major bands and as a solo artist. Yet he still doesn't get the recognition that many flash-in-the-pan artists receive. He has a great voice, writes great songs, and plays a great guitar. Plain and simple, the guy rocks.

  2. I saw it last week. I was glued to my seat.....for a while. But the problem was, the movie could have gone forever....and after a while it seemed to. That Tommy kid was freakin' evil though, wasn't he? Ashton Kutcher's cool, but he's no Danny Masterson.

  6. CarsAndKites: I know who Meg White is. I was making a joke. I guess some wiseass remarks just don't convey well over the Internet. Actually, that's one of the few new bands I like. Jimi Hendrix perfected the technique of playing rhythm and lead guitar at the same time. I like the way this White Stripes dude plays rhythm, lead AND BASS guitar at the same time. It's a very unique style. It depends on how well he can continue to write good music that will form my true opinion of him. But for now, they seem pretty cool. I liked them when they were on "Letterman" for that week stretch last year. And I love "Seven Nation Army". Later.

  7. I was coming out of the men's room at a Taco Bell in Battle Creek Michigan and walked straight into Elvis Presley.

    Last week.

The above was intended purely as satire, and in no way indicates this website's belief that the King of Rock and Roll is indeed alive.
