Beatles - Please Mr. Postman Lyrics
(Dobbin/Garrett/Garman/Brianbert)
Wait!
Oh yes, wait a minute Mr. postman
Wait!
Wai-ai-ai-ait Mr. postman
Mr. postman look and see (oh yeah)
You got a letter in your bag for me (please please Mr.
po-o-o-stman)
I've been waiting such a long time (oh yeah)
Since I heard from that girl of mine.
There must be some word today-ay-ay
From my girlfriend so far away
Please Mr. postman look and see
If there's a letter, a letter for me.
I've been standing here waiting Mr. postman
So-o-o patiently
For just a card or just a letter
Saying she's returning home to me.
Please Mr. Postman
Mr. postman look and see (oh yeah)
You got a letter in your bag for me (please please Mr.
po-o-o-stman)
I've been waiting such a long time (oh yeah)
Since I heard from that girl of mine.
So many days you passed me by-y-y
See the tear standing in my eye
You didn't stop to make me feel better
By leaving me a card or a letter
Mr. postman
Mr. postman look and see
You got a letter in your bag for me (oh yeah)
I've been waiting such a long time
Since I heard from that girl of mine.
Wait
oh yes wait a minute mr. recycle man
wait..wai ai ai ai mr. recycle man
Mr. Recycle man look and see
you got my cardboard that belongs to me
i've been waiting such a long time
since i've had enough to claim it's mine
there must be some other waste
from the neighbors that are'nt too far away
please mr. recycle man look and see
if that cardboard belongs to me
I've been standing here waiting mr recycle man
so patiently
for my cardboard to make a card or just a letter
please mr recycle man
look and see
if you got my cardboard in your bag for me
ive been waiting such a long time
so many days your truck passed right on by
you didnt see the tear in my eyes
by leaving the neighbors cardboard
then taking mine

Bruce Springsteen's "tenth avenue freeze out"....I thought he was saying...."tell the devil to freeze out"
and in the song Drops of Jupiter...it sounds like he's saying "Van Halen's over rated"...but he's really saying "and that heaven is over rated"....

Ha ha no, no tricks up my sleeve, I don't like to be too difficult....you got the right answer...you must be a true classic rocker...oh i dont like to say the word "old" I prefer the word experience instead

Mairi...Why so sad?...very well written, you are expressing your feelings, which is good....you obviously have talent and that's something to feel good about...if writing makes you feel good, than I bet there are some positive feelings inside of you, I'd like to see that in your writings, and I bet they would be beautiful.....

I don't really know too much about the newer music artist these days, especially growing up in the 70's generation. But when I saw this girl named Joss Stone is it? do Janis Joplin I must say she did a great job. It's very difficult to try to do a Janis tune, and i was really amazed by this girls performance...especially for being so young.
Change the Lyrics!.
