  5. I also have a lot of trouble uploading things Tracy; I'm only new to this so I am probably doing something wrong lol. I think my email address is on my  profile, and I don't mind Jimmy Hendrix I wouldn't mind having a look.  I was actually watching a show on tv the other night about Jimmy  and his death, it also featured a whole heap of entertainers that had passed away at age 27 . VERY  bizarre

    Hi,

I am looking for the title and artist of a song that I heard a couple of times in 2002 in clubs, but i am not sure if the song was released in 2002 or earlier.

The song is a dance track with a lady singing it. The song is very much similar in tune and style to the song "It Feels So good" by Sonique

The song has the phrases "Everynight and Everyday" and "I turn to you", not sure if the word is "turn" or something else.

Unfortunately thats all I know about the song.

I will really appreciate if anyone can help me find the name of the song.

THE SONGFACTORS' CHOICE: Top Ten Love Songs and Ballads of All Time

**NOTE: After much (stress much) discussion we went with songs this time, and this theme is easy and different. Everybody has a couple of favorite love songs, the ones that get to you everytime you hear them. Easy (or hard) enough to choose a list of ten, so we're going with a Top Ten this time. Sound good? Good. ;)

GIVE US YOUR NOMINATIONS NOW!

You were a "gotta sit in front of the speakers to get the complete music experience" at concerts last century. Now you're "deaf as Peter Townsend" but still like to "experience the music." Rather than upset a bus load of riders with Kirk Thatcher's "I Hate You" with the "volume at 11," "Techmoan" has a non-invasive solution to "EH?" syndrome. Stick one of these "bone conducting headphones" and you could listen to Twisted Sister or Megadeth while everybody else is taking in "Lucia di Lammermore.";)

    You are

    The Rolling Stones

    Paint It Black

    (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction

    Street Fighting Man

    Gimme Shelter

You've got a wild streak a mile wide and you never slow down. You live life to the fullest, are never afraid to take a risk and always go for your dreams. You don't back down and aren't afraid of what people think of you. You are very much your own person.

Well, I did like Mick Jagger & Company when The Bealtes ruled AM radio, but these days, I'm partial to The Steve Miller Band, War, or CSNY. (California is the closest state, after all.;)

You don't worry about the past and take each day as it comes, happy for all the joy that life brings. You're not afraid of change or of the future. You are open and honest, brave and unflinching. You are passionate and emotional.

I like maybe 3 of their songs, change annoys me, and I do occasionally flinch.

Gee; I never really thought about this until I read this topic; but now it has come to my attention that YES I am not as tolerant of alot of loud noise anymore, I'm just  PRAYING that the old hearing is not that bad when I head off to "Conversations " with Nick  Cave!!!!!! 😎🤔😊😍

I love this idea! I've wanted to this since we began. I also love the idea of live albums, and acoustic albums.

Here's the place to give us your suggestions for topics and themes, as well as other suggestions, so they don't get lost in the shuffle. :)

With our last two lists, Songfactors' Choice has really gained popularity. So far we've done:

    • Best Soundtracks
    • Christmas Wish List
    • Holiday Special
    • The Very Best of 2007
    • Women Gone Wild!
    • Distinctive Debuts

We need ideas for universal themes, to encourage the great participation we've been getting. Obviously, the more popular the topic, the more nominations (such as the last two lists) we get, which is the whole point.

Which leads to the suggestion of lists of 10, rather than 5. It's great idea... as long as we have the participation to support it. So we have suggestion #1, which is under serious advisement. :)

    Give us whatcha got! ;)

Sound tracks is a good  one ; I'd definitely be voting Muriels Wedding; a daggy but a goodie. Love ABBA

  10. I think music is so important in our lives , I know for one that I have different music that I play to suit certain moods; but sometimes this can cause me to burst in to tears at inappropriate times lol. I've been in the supermarket when a song has played that moves me and out come the water works lol. I also will listen to different types of music to just emerge myself into another time or place. Anyway that's just my view and I'm sure everyone has different reasons for the likes and dislikes of different types of music.

  11. Hi; I've been on and off for the last couple of months, but I LOOOOOVE checking out the lyrics to my favorite songs, I pretend that if I know the words my singing dosen't sound so crap ( lol)

But it doesn't work.  I learn the lyrics and continue to sing my little heart out 🤣

I was wondering if any of the old Songfacts gang (you know who you are) checks in to the site much these days. Every once in while I come back searching for you guys but come up empty. It was a vibrant and crazy place when we all joined close to 15 years ago and it remained that way for a long time. Frankly I miss it.  If any of you stop by, leave a comment. I'd love to know how you guys are doing. RonJonSurfer (Ron)

Some exciting news , I managed to get tickets to see a Nick Cave conversation concert in Melbourne, Australia in January 2019. BEST BIRTHDAY present to myself ever
