  1. It's not? Death metal is part of the metal umbrella I imagine. Unless something went completely over my head?
  2. I mean it's got heavy guitars but there's an element of it that doesn't seem as heavy. Here's my nomination unless you think it doesn't qualify: Juke Joint Jezebel - KMFDM edit: Nah, I don't think it counts. But I'll leave the song up to share.
  3. So the song has to have been previously nominated? Or is that a mistake?
  4. 1. Super Bad - James Brown (1970) 2. Sprawl II(Mountains Beyond Mountains) - Arcade Fire (2010) 3. Criminal - Fiona Apple (1997) 4. Hey - Pixies (1989) 5. Rock and Roll Suicide - David Bowie (1972) 6. Don't Stop Me Now - Queen (1978) 7. So Long - Junior Wells (1975) 8. Gold and Silver - Quicksilver Messenger Service (1968) 9. Fallin' - Alicia Keys (2001) 10. Love Train - O'Jays
  5. Well seeing as this will be the final weekly top ten in awhile I might as well try to get in these two songs I've been meaning to in awhile. Hey - Pixies And for the whatever time, once again, Arcade Fire, which has failed to get in through 261 weeks worth of Top Tens. Sprawl II - Arcade Fire
  6. Ahhhhhh man! This band was great live! Rebellion (Lies) - Arcade Fire (2004)

    Arcade Fire

I saw these guys perform this past Saturday and they are just great. They really get into it when they perform and the music is just begging to be played live. I was disappointed in my seats, seeing as I was really really close to purchasing pit tickets. But regardless of that, the concert was still excellent. I did not mind at all getting rained on waiting in line. It was a still an honor just seeing these guys do their thing live. One of the best bands of my generation. Setlist: Ready to Start Keep the Car Running Neighborhood #2 (Laika) Haïti Rococo Sprawl I (Flatland) Intervention The Suburbs The Suburbs (Continued) Month of May Rebellion (Lies) No Cars Go Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels) We Used to Wait Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) Encore: Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains) Wake Up
  8. Someone already nominated Arcade Fire. So, I'm gonna nominate this song: Hey - Pixies
  9. I was gonna nominate this band. Gonna go see them this Saturday.
  10. *sigh* Two bands I definitely missed and will miss out on this week: Fried My Little Brains - The Kills Moneygrabber - Fitz and the Tantrums
  11. You can download the song on their official site for free. http://fitzandthetantrums.com/
  12. Area Codes - Ludacris ft. Nate Dogg Not exactly the classiest song, but I favorite of mine featuring Nate Dogg (RIP).
  13. Month of May - Arcade Fire(2010) I get to see them April 30! and Down In It - Nine Inch Nails (1989)
  14. I'm not nominating this song, but I do want to discuss one song, that I have problems with. It may not be considered a guilty pleasure anymore for, since the problems I have with it are just preventing me from nominating it, but the song ******* Wit Dre Day by Dr. Dre is a song that has a guilty pleasure history with me. Undoubtedly, the songs appeal has been the flow and sound. But the lyrics are too homophobic for me. Check it out: Again, this is not a nomination.
  15. Hey - Pixies (1989) Neighborhood #2 - Arcade Fire (2004)
