  2. One thing I would like to do before I leave here is to have all of the missing Tens in the Archive updated. If anyone with a calculator and a little time can help Brad and I, please let us know.

I've just changed Top Ten #326. The Great Pretender/ The Platters had already made TT #289, so it's inelibible. The new #10 is Down In The Boondocks/Billy Joe Royal. About time - it's been nominated about a dozen times before. I've updated 'Every Song/Every Artist'.

Interesting bit of trivia; I nominated The Great Pretender, and that's the week it made it in. I checked my list of past noms and saw that I had it highlighted in green. I'm the one who nominated Down in the Boondocks in #326, so I'm pleased to see it made it in.

  6. Mine are mostly from the 80's through today, mostly because all the older songs I like and am familiar with are already in the archive. I'm gonna do a mixed variety of genres, mostly hard rock & pop with others, to allow people to find their certain tastes. I don't wanna subject it to just hard rock, which is mostly what I listen to, because the voters aren't all the same way.

This will be my 3rd PTT. The first one was mostly my favorite classic rock tunes, the second was love songs from the 70s, and this time I wanted to show off my love of contemporary/modern songs and artists. The majority of songs in my list are tracks I've nominated before in regular TTs, so coming up with the list wasn't hard. I did make some substitutions for tracks I've never nominated before, only because they were either repeat artists or songs I didn't think anyone would really enjoy aside from myself (and I obviously can't vote, LOL).

  12. Today is my birthday. Overall, it's been a pretty ho-hum day, but that's what I want. I'm at the age now where getting all rah-rah about it just looks silly. No one celebrates being 31 unless they weren't supposed to live that long. I got lunch from my dad, a hug from my sister, and I'm getting a free Starbucks this evening. Can't say I really need much more than that.
