  1. I was supposed to meet my friend in town today, but he rang me saying he was going to be another 20 minutes, he was already 20 minutes late anyway.

So I went to look around some shops, then my phone died, so I went straight back to the meeting-point, waited ages but he didn't turn up. Eventually went home after 3 hours of waiting and looking in shops and internet café's, it was horrible!

When I got home I plugged my phone into the charger, got 20 missed calls from him. It turns out that he assumed that I went to the place ahead of him that we were supposed to go to!

It was a waste of a day, but I'm over it. Not worth losing a friendship over!

  2. I like the solitude in the cities on a Sunday at 8 am... or when there´s a soccer match on TV so there´s nobody on the streets.I love the sound of silence...
I had an experience kinda similar to this after my debs(prom). I was in Dublin city at 6am, a group of us got the Luas into town, then went our ways. I was with my friend Séamus, he was still a bit drunk. It was so strange. There were some people wondering around, McDonald's was open (needed the toilet!). I was going around in a Tux, was very quiet and dark.
  3. I found this out on the day that it happened from one of my friends in college, I was really shocked, and sad, I didn't even know that he had cancer.

I thought that he'd have good more 20 years left in him, it's just so sad. It won't be the same about him, David Gilmour's next album won't be the same without Wright. :( :(

  4. You gave the guy a chance and it did not work out. Sounds like he has not learned to control his mood swings and is not ready to hang with people that are more advanced socially. You dont have to be mean to him or ignore him, but you sure dont have to hang with him.

Because he´ll mess with your brain and heart. People with constantly changing moods drive other people nuts... :stars:

Thanks guys, you're making me feel better about not really wanting to hang out with him anymore. I'll see him at the debs in September, most likely not before then, cos I don't really want to see him. If he's aggressive at the debs, then I will have had already more than enough of his annoying moodiness. Thanks for the help everyone who did help. He's done enough damage to me already, as it is.

So that's that for now, I can see that people want me to stop posting about this, but I'll post an update in September.
