Peachy, you should hear his rendition of Deep Water by Bob Wills & His Texas Playboys, western swing at it's finest.
Now I can't wait to get myself a Garth Brooks CD
-
Amen to Randy's Forever and Ever Amen
Tenacious you've got my vote here; I never get tired of this song.
-
Goodday Edna,
You can count on my vote for Lynn's Rose Garden
Cheers, Judo.

OLD 55, I don't think I've heard Helen Reddy's version of Delta Dawn but I reckon it will surely be good.
-
It's good to see legends like Jim Reeves and Merle Haggard make an entry into the nominations. Two of my favourite male artists there. I was holding back on these; let's see how they do in this TT round.
With new members joining the thread and some of our regulars taking a break or two, it is neither easy to pick a nomination nor easy to predict how well it will fare.

Speaking for myself :
5-Day Top Tens is quite an exciting frequency, but these days I've been busy on the job front and had little or no time to give other threads a looksee.
7-Day Top Tens would be preferable in view of the time difference, and in my case, also in view of the difference in weekend.

About the other thing... I'm not particularly enamoured of the idea of putting restrictions on the nominations. As Ron points out, we can certainly have "special" groups - I have yet to see any country/western music in these nominations! - but don't restrict the regular lists...
My thoughts echo yours
