    This line reminds me of Jared from the Subway commercials. Has anyone ever seen his teeth? They're not only bright, but huge. I swear, they look like chiclets. Anyway, carrion.

    Perhaps Edna felt your lyrics felt like they were Led Zep inspired, or they reminded her of a Led Zep song.

    I'm curious as to the inspiration of the poem/song. The subject in question must have done something that hurt alot of people at once, or really disappointed them. Dealing with feelings of letting people down is difficult - writing about them helps put it into perspective.

    Your writing is good and you can feel the enormous guilt about the bad they have done.

    Yes, the thing that I had done hurt alot of people and me, and I regret it.

    LOL, what's wrong with your reg date?!. I read more of them Karhul posts, and he seems like a funny guy. He must have done something pretty bad if hewas kicked.

    Guilt

    Like cold water going down my throat

    I sensed a feeling of guilt

    Whoever could have guessed that mistakes lead to pain

    The pain of others, and sorrow in myself

    I never knew that what I had done

    Could lead to so much pain

    The warmth left me

    As I tried to forget

    I tried to change myself

    But the haunting thoughts came back

    It's horrible to feel the pain of others

    When stupidity could have been so easily avoided

    What I feel now is missing

    Because I am not myself

    I tried to change

    But people hated my old self

    Because of what I had done

    By my own hand

    I slowly fade away with happy memories

    And stay in the bad ones

    How could I have been so stupid?

    I should have learned before what I had done

    A part of me is missing

    And guilt has replaced

    Should I say sorry?

    To the people I hurt?

    Would they believe me?

    Or would they care?

    Could they forgive me?

    Or will they forget me?

    Everyone deserves another shot

    Only if they mean it in their heart

    Forgiveness can make people feel better

    Hate and painful memories tear you apart

    A chance of redemption

    Can boost a new start
