    I can?t let this happen I can?t let them win,

    So I hold my head high and look to a friend.

    Six days ago, I thought I was done.

    I looked in the mirror and saw this reflection.

    I realized inside I can?t let them win

    So I hold my head high, and thank you again.

    In the shadow of my dream.

    This life ain?t for me.

    We then stood eye to eye

    Stuff from Lack that wasn?t used.

    You said you cared, said you knew.

    This is unfair, how we are through.

    Did you take it, hard or the same?

    Pack the ice to negate this pain.

    Numbing it feels, these scars will heal.

    But you can?t feel that this pain is real.

    Somehow, without... you.

    I changed the last line, I realized that I left the song without a conclusion. I gave it a positive conclusion, thanks to all for the feedback.

    The world has turned and left me here.

    Verse 1

    Shattered and scarred. My feelings are barred.

    I lost it all, this plight is deep and tall.

    It was like a rapid blow, I didn?t know, where to go?

    Where to go.

    All that I?ve got has seemed to disappear.

    She branded my heart, then tore it apart.

    Deep in my skin, it seeped to my heart.

    I wrote this song after going to the bathroom and reading something that I found not cool....

    I saw, I read, its words were charged with hate.

    Its message was clear. It?s just too late.

    The things it said have all past and gone.

    These words have been floating for far too long?..

    We have to pick it up??

    Because we are headed, we?re bound to fall?

    It all stems back to the writing on the wall.

    Back when we were kids. We never really thought.

    How we could hurt someone until we were caught.

    We then were to learn the power of words.
