    For aspiring song writers what is the best way to get your songs noticed by artists?? the reason I ask is because I think I want to get my music out there soon, because I would like to be a song writer as a hobby and if I can get some connections it would be great... any guidance help, personal experiances etc.., would be appreciated...thanx

    Ok, there is a song in the COACH CARTER commercial, its a Rocky type song, and the words I could catch were "I've been waiting for this moment for all my life" and I've tried Downloading "IN the Air Tonight" by PHIL COLLINS but it wasn't that one, so I was wondering if any of you people could track it down for me?? it sounds KIND OF like a Finger Eleven type song maybe...I dont know...

    hey this is one of the first songs I EVER wrote, I just found it this morning...enjoy, tho it really does suck...

    it is miserable, and filled with regret, it is time spent wondering who is right for me?

    if it is a life it wouldn't be a life worth living!

    or if someone hurts you

    even if someone threatens you

    I am ready to kill them and it doesn't matter who it is

    I guess I am saying I would kill for you

    Well band is great what can I say, I first heard of them in early July when it was announced they would be touring to Ottawa Ontario for a concert, I got tickets to go for my birthday i went down to see Evanescence, Three Days Grace, and Seether, and what I got was pleseantly suprised at the talent that Breaking Benjamin had!! I have bought there new CD called We are not Alone and its AMAZING!! one of those CD's that all the songs are good on, you dont get many of those anymore, and not only that I had time to Download some of there Acoustic songs because i feel it shows the bands true talent and again I was baffled at the talent they show!! it was great!!!!!!!! so check'em out people they are the next band to hit it big!!!

    It appears that Saliva is covering Simple Man for a Lynyrd Synyrd tribute album....

    hi guys, heard that your contributing a song for a lynyrd skynyrd tribute album, is this true? and will you use one of your songs or cover some skynyrd? can't wait to here it either way. anyway hope to see you on tour soon!

    Answer:

    Yeah, we did "Simple Man" in November of 2003 for a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute album. There were a bunch of bands covering Skynyrd songs, but the last I heard it wasn't going to happen.
